When did you start Bodybuilding?
I got started bodybuilding about five yrs ago when I was getting ready to start varsity wrestling as a freshman but truly got serious about a year and a half ago during my senior year in high school.
Describe your training:
My training consists of a 6 day split. Cardio 3x per week off-season and 2x per day 7days per week while prepping for a show.
Monday-Chest and Triceps
Tuesday- Back and Biceps
Wednesday- Hamstrings and Calves![DSC_0204_HFTTIFLWWP[2]](http://seriousteenbodybuilding.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/DSC_0204_HFTTIFLWWP2-200x300.jpg)
Thursday- Shoulders
Friday- Arms
Saturday- Quads and Calves
Sunday- Rest
My best body part would be my back and traps. To achieve my backs thickness and width I perform up to 18 sets of pull-ups varying hand position. I also perform many forms of rows using precise form with very heavy weight.
I would like to add that I use the “time under tension” principle also used by IFBB pro bodybuilder Jason Huh. This technique works great to keep your muscle constantly being worked in its stretched position. I have received amazing gains using this technique.
Describe your diet and supplementation:
My off-season diet consists of 6-7 whole food meals per day along with 2 shakes. A lot of egg whites throughout my morning and chicken during the day and tilapia at night. On occasion steak after training. For carbs I stay gluten free eating mostly white rice and occasionally oats and grits. About 350g plus of protein and 250 carbs.
- Contest Prep Diet Consists of 5 whole food meals and 1 shake. Mostly chicken with sum egg whites and tilapia. Low carb consisting of 3 meals with carbs of oats or brown rice. 250g protein and 75carbs
My Favorite supplements include Hyperbolic 10 from Professional supplements as my pre-workout and during, because of how efficient it is, how many supplements it replaces, and the quality. Karbolyn from Professional Supplements, because of its quality of carbs great for pre-workout, during, and post. I Load to work with my Karbolyn before and after my workout by pushing those carbs into my muscles for an extreme pump and amazing recovery. Dymatize Elite All Natural Whey Isolate as my protein powder because of its high quality whey and lack of extra junk. I also take multivitamins, fish oils, oregano oil, and C.L.A.
Bodybuilding Achievements:
My Achievements include winning my 1st Teen show the N.P.C. Tampa Bay Classic and Placing 3rd in the Teen Middleweight division at the N.P.C. Southern States Championships both qualifying me for Teen Nationals.
What are your goals for the future?
My Goals include winning the 2012 N.P.C. Teen Nationals and later going on to win the N.P.C. USA’s and turning pro.
